इस अंग्रेजी बातचीत में फुटबॉल पर चर्चा करते दो दोस्त
Sid: Hey Bhaskar, tell me what sports do you like to play?
Bhaskar: I like cricket and basketball. I like to play with friends occasionally.
Sid: That’s nice, but don’t you like football?
Bhaskar: I’m not so sure really. I mainly used to play cricket with my friends, so I never learned the game when I was younger.
Sid: It’s one of the most popular sports in the world.
Bhaskar: Yeah. I have heard a lot about it. Is it really that fun?
Sid: Oh yes! For me, it’s one of those games that are fun to both watch and play.
Bhaskar: Do you play football a lot?
Sid: No, just for fun with my friends. We play two hand touch or flag football. Me and my buddies are too old to play tackle football.
Bhaskar: Football can be very confusing to me. Help me understand. What is two hand touch and flag football? Can you tell me something about them?
Sid: Sure. It’s only confusing to you because you haven’t spent much time on it. Otherwise it’s pretty simple. Instead of tackling somebody, you just have to touch them with two hands, or if it is flag football, grab the flag that the ball carrier is wearing.
Bhaskar: Oh, I see. It must be safer then, right?
Sid: Yes, it is. We play every Sunday on the field by the cricket ground in our area. If you want to learn and play a little, you’re welcome to join us.
Bhaskar: That would be fun. I’ll be happy to give it a try. Give me a call and let’s go down together.
Sid: Ok. I’ll call you Sunday morning.
Bhaskar: Great. I’ll see you then.
