In this English Conversation, Two friends discussing their fears
इस अंग्रेजी बातचीत में भय पर चर्चा करते दो मित्र
Kaira: I have a question for you. What are you afraid of?
Sonal: I’m not sure. I used to be scared of a lot of things when I was young, like spiders and roaches but not anymore.
Kaira: Okay, but there must be something that you are afraid of. Like death?
Sonal: Maybe. But only if I think about it a lot. However, death is inevitable, so there is no use thinking about it, right?
Kaira: True. What about horror movies?
Sonal: No. I know they are all fake so there is nothing to be afraid of. How about you? Are you afraid of anything?
Kaira: No doubt! I get scared pretty easily. I’m actually frightened of snakes.
Sonal: That’s very common. Most people have that fear.
Kaira: I actually have a story behind it. I got bitten when I was young. I had to be rushed to the hospital. And ever since then, I’ve always been afraid of them.
Sonal: That’s logical. What other things are you afraid of?
Kaira: There’s another thing. I think sitting by the campfire and telling horror stories is very scary.
Sonal: Really? You’re afraid of many things huh?
Kaira: I guess so. Aren’t you afraid of something coming out of the bushes?
Sonal: What makes you think that will happen? We probably went camping dozens of times and nothing ever came out of the bushes. That’s just you being paranoid.
Kaira: I don’t know. Maybe you’re right. I guess I’m terrified at the possibility.
Sonal: If you were realistic, you probably wouldn’t be scared of everything. maybe you have too much imagination.
Kaira: Yeah, I should try to think more realistically. I’ll do that.
Sonal: Good. After a while, you won’t be afraid of so many things.
