इस अंग्रेज़ी वार्तालाप में, हॉस्टल सुविधा के बारे में एक नए छात्र से बात करती कॉलेज की एक सीनियर।
Vandana: Hello di! I’m a new student here. I haven’t made any friends yet and I don’t even have a roommate. So, I thought maybe I could talk to you.
Shashi: You can talk to me whenever you feel like. Welcome to the college!
Vandana: I really like this college! The environment is perfect for studying and there are so many clubs too to help me explore extra-curricular activities.
Shashi: Yes! That is one of the best features of this institution. Many students come here because of all the cultural activities and events that we organize all year round.
Vandana: There is only one thing worrying me at the moment.
Shashi: What is it? Tell me. Maybe I’ll be able to help you in some way.
Vandana: Yes of course! Actually I have shifted to the college hostel only yesterday. Although the warden has given me all the instructions and details regarding the facilities that are there in the hostel, yet I still don’t know how much of it is true. So I thought I should ask about it to someone who has been living here for a while.
Shashi: You are thinking right. They never give you the correct details. They would tell you that most of the rooms have ACs but that means that only a few rooms have ACs. Even the ones that have ACs don’t have good ventilation due to the lack of windows. This is the major reason why many students fall sick frequently.
Vandana: That is not right! Students should complain about it!
Shashi: We did. We have been told that there would be a survey and the conditions of the rooms would be improved in around a month’s time. So all we can do is wait and watch.
Vandana: Thank you for informing me about it!
Shashi: No problem! You can always call me if you have any issues. I live on the third floor.
Vandana: Sure! I will.
