Watchman: Neha, came back from school?

Neha: Yes Uncle, now from tomorrow summer vacation will start.

Watchman: Wow beta! You will have lots of fun during these vacations.

Neha: Yes Uncle, that’s true. I will play cricket, football and many such sports and games.

Watchman: Play carefully. Don’t make much noise or else complaints will start coming.

Neha: Don’t you worry; we will take care of the fact that no one is disturbed. But you tell me one thing, you are always at society’s gate; don’t you have holidays?

Watchman: What to say, beta, I am an ordinary guard. I get a salary of Rs 8000 and if I start taking holidays, then it will get deducted from my salary.

Neha: So it means that you are unable to spend much time with your family?

Watchman: Yes, I work for 12 hours a day; when I reach home tired and worn out; I eat and sleep.

Neha: So why don’t you find another good job?

Watchman: It’s not that easy, for that you need to be literate and I’m sixth fail.

Neha: You didn’t go to school in your childhood. Everyone goes to school, right?

Watchman: No beta, we were poor. My parents couldn’t afford my education. My dad was the lone breadwinner of the house and his salary was very less.

Neha: You enlightened me, uncle. I thought how good it would have been if I didn’t have to study, but now I’m feeling that I am so lucky.

Watchman: Beta, you have all the facilities for studying. You have to become a rich man by studying hard and make the nation proud.

Neha: Thanks for guiding me, uncle. I will remember this lesson throughout my life.
