Father: What happened, Sandeep? You seem to be pondering over something.

Sandeep: Nothing papa, I was thinking that you have spent so much money on me and always fulfill all my needs. How I will be able to pay the huge debt!

Father: Beta, it’s impossible to pay parents’ debt, we are satisfied just with your success and happiness.

Sandeep: That’s all fine; but please tell me what can I do for you?

Father: Just respecting us and behaving nicely will be enough for us.

Sandeep: But Papa, you had once said that you wanted me to become a District Magistrate.

Father: That is just my wish, but before becoming an officer you must become a good human. What’s the use of becoming an officer if you turn out to be haughty and egoistic?

Sandeep: There is so much competition today in every exam that I feel my journey ahead is going to be difficult.

Father: Competition is everywhere but you don’t have to give up, you have to work hard consistently. We are always there for your support.

Sandeep: But how will I be able to make a mark in this huge crowd?

Father: You don’t have to fear the crowd, rather you have to fight it out. I came across an article in the newspaper yesterday that a boy whose family was not able to make both ends meet cleared the IAS exam.

Sandeep: That boy must have to face many problems. 

Father: Yes, but it is said that where there is a will there’s a way. Work that is done with diligence and dedication never goes in vain.

Sandeep: What do you think papa, how will be my future?

Father: You will succeed in any field you choose if you put your heart and soul into it.

Sandeep: Thanks for showing faith in me! I promise you that I will give my best and will make you proud one day.

Father: I am proud of you my son, my blessings are always with you.
