Writer: I have realized recently that my books have only become successful because of your fine editing.
Editor: A well edited book without a good story wouldn’t be a hit either.
Writing: Yes, but a story written in a lousy manner wouldn’t be much loved.
Editor: You’re right. The expression of the words doesn’t come out until they are represented with the right grammar.
Writer: A book published without editing is just lazy work. Every art deserves to be perfectly polished before coming to the public eyes.
Editor: Yes, even if a book is perfectly written; there is no harm in checking it again before releasing it.
Writer: I understand now why my first two books didn’t gain any recognition. I thought, to hire an editor was a foolish thing to do but now I see how big of a mistake it was.
Editor: Thank you, sir.
