Father asked Panshul what was the reason behind the decline in performance in his studies. Panshul paid equal attention to both and got very good marks. Now it was time for the trials, after hard work, Panshul scored two goals in the match despite a knee injury and led his team to victory. Seeing his combativeness and dedication towards the game, he got a place in the Indian team. When father noticed that Panshul continued playing the game rather than pulling out of the match despite being badly injured, he reconsidered his decision. Father asked Panshul what he wanted to do. Seeing Panshul’s interest in sports and his passion for football, father allowed him to pursue a career in football. With all this, father made a condition that if he was choosing the path of football, then he should work with dedication and devotion.
